Course Objectives:
This one-day IN PERSON course is designed as a combination of didactic sessions and hands-on skills lab sessions with silicone mastotrainer breast models. The lectures and corresponding hands-on skills lab sessions will educate participants and allow them to become familiar and able to perform various oncoplastic level I and II procedures, including glandular closure, as well as crescent, round block, racquet and V/J mammoplasties. The course will allow participants to learn individual techniques one at a time, and practice each of the techniques on the mastotrainers after each didactic lecture. Participants will also learn more advanced level III reduction mammoplasty techniques and become familiar with anticipating, avoiding and managing complications that can occur in patients undergoing oncoplastic breast surgery.

The program has received an educational grant from Mammotome, Molli Surgical and Vector Surgical.
