The symposium will focus on molecular biology of breast cancer especially its clinical application as we move into personalized therapy for our patients.  As in our clinics a multi-disciplinary approach to management of different presentations of breast cancer will be pursued through our panel discussions and case presentations.  Thus, this symposium is designed to provide a comprehensive and real life review of the many facets of breast cancer.

There will be opportunity for audience participation via keypad polling devices with the faculty featured during the panel discussions. This smaller and more intimate meeting allows for much networking with the speakers and your colleagues.  We aim to bring a Canadian perspective to the management of breast cancer patients and look forward to your input as to ways in which we can work together to optimize the care of our patients.

We are also very happy to announce this year we are collaborating with the Canadian Oncoplastic Partnership Group and will be including the Oncoplastic Partnership Workshop on Thursday January 30^th. The workshop is the only hands-on course in Canada and has been offered with huge success across the country. Oncoplastic surgery is quickly gaining momentum worldwide; this hands on workshop is an excellent opportunity for breast surgeons to learn and develop the latest techniques.
